The Greenwoods Scholarship Foundation is pleased to announce the receipt of a $20,000 scholarship grant from the Auxiliary for Community Health.

The Auxiliary, which is run completely by volunteers, operates the Thrift Shop on Willow Street in Winsted. 

The Thrift Shop is open Monday through Friday, 10:00 - 4:00 and Saturday, 9:30 - noon. They gratefully accept all donations, in order to maintain their services to our community.

The entire $20,000 grant is used to provide scholarships to Winsted area residents who have attended either      The Gilbert School or Northwestern Regional 7. The recipients of these scholarships must be pursuing careers in the health field at schools of higher learning.
