OUR PURPOSE

Over the past several decades, costs for post-secondary education have escalated drastically. 

These rising costs, combined with attempts to cope with inflation, 

have made college costs expensive for families of all levels of income.

Many students would be denied the opportunity for advanced education if funds were not made available. 

The Greenwoods Scholarship Foundation was incorporated with the assistance of the 

Northwestern Connecticut Chamber of Commerce in January of 1975 with the following basic purposes:
